Cody & Jessie were living in Liberty Village in a small studio condo. They wanted to expand their family and adopt. Follow their journey from downtown Toronto to just outside of the city.
I first met Cody and Jessie many years ago when they lived in a small studio condo in Liberty Village. After a while, they ended up outgrowing that space and wanted to find something with more room to grow. So they called me and I helped them find a condo nearby that was larger and had a bedroom.

Fast forward a couple of years.
I end up finding out that they want to expand their family – they wanted to adopt a child! How exciting! As part of the adoption process, the agency needs to do a home study to see where the adopted child will be spending the rest of their life. Cody and Jessie knew it was the right time to look for a larger family home to raise their child in, and then entrusted me with the important task of helping them find their next home.
The pressure was on to find them a suitable home, as they needed more space. So we had to look just outside of the city to find something more suitable. We eventually found a great home that had more than enough room for this growing family. We had to negotiate hard but ended up getting the home at a great price.
Now that the deal was firm, we had to work at lightning speed to sell their condo in the city. Luckily, we work with a team of professionals to sell homes. We called in our stagers, photographers, videographers, and assistants to get the condo on the market, pronto.

In less than a week, we were able to have their condo on the market. The condo got plenty of traffic because we spend a lot of time and money on marketing – and it paid off! We had multiple offers come in and had the opportunity to pick the best one. Jessie and Cody were more than happy with the results and got an offer higher than they ever expected.
